Marcelino fell in love with a job he had found
through a temporary employment agency.  A
week’s time was enough for Colton Piano to
decide that Marcelino would be a permanent
employee.  In 1982 Marcelino Cardona started
his piano moving career working at Colton
Piano.  Marcelino soon became an expert and
specialized at placing piano’s in the most
complex locations, like homes with flights of
stairs, marble floors, hard wood floors and
homes on hills. Marcelino was also able to
apply his military training at operating heavy
machinery like cranes, lifts and hoists.  Now
Marcelino is one of the most highly recognized
movers in the piano business.  Marcelino enjoys
the daily challenge of moving pianos because he
has mastered all aspects of delivering piano.
Length, size and weight are not an issue.   Piano’
s costs also became a factor by many of the
sales persons because Bosendorfer and
Steinway on average ran $60k to $180k per
piano.  Marcelino became the head mover for
Colton Piano moving department.  Typically his
job would be to deliver eight to ten piano’s a
day in San Francisco, San Jose, Oakland Hills,
Carmel and many other difficult area.  Soon the
most complex piano delivery became a routine
for Marcelino.
After Colton Piano Marcelino moved to
Patterson and continued moving pianos with
Keyboard Connection for five years.  Marcelino
was in charge of his own 24 ft truck which
earned more profits than any other truck in the
company.
Finally Marcelino has decided to put his efforts
into his own company.  Marcelino is the best
piano mover in the valley due to his experience,
knowledge and physical ability.

Kelly Barker started delivering pianos and
organs as a kid for his father in the 1970s.  He

old.  At the age of 10 he was refinishing old
uprights for resale.  Kelly handles most all the
deliveries for the 12 years at Barker’s Music.
In 1994 Kelly moved to Sacramento to go to
Heald Business College.  Kelly was hired by
Colton Piano which later was bought out by
Larricks Piano and  Organ.  From 1994 till 2001
Kelly worked for Larricks moving and
delivering pianos.  Then in 2002 Kelly moved
back to Modesto where he moved piano’s once
again for Barker’s Music.  Then in 2002 Kelly
started his first piano moving company named
Kelly’s Specialty Moves.  Then in 2004 Kelly
was introduced to Marcelino at an outside
promotion in Tracy, CA.  Now the two have
